The President of the Musicians Union of Ghana (MUSIGA), Bice Osei Kuffuor, popularly known as Obuor has reached out to Citi FM’s Jessica Opare Saforo to help him lose weight.
Obuor in a tweet to Jessica said he was determined to “shut” his critics up by shedding off his belly fat within six months.
His tweet said:
Obuor has been the center of public ridicule on social media after a photo of him surfaced with a huge pot belly on Monday night.
The “Konkontibaa” hit maker was seen in a lemon green jersey with matching boots running on a football pitch. But the outstanding feature in the photo was not the colour of his jersey but his pot belly which was struggling to fit in the tight jersey.
Social media users made fun of him for failing to keep fit after winning the MUSIGA presidency. Funny captions were given as the photos went viral on both Facebook and Twitter.
She has also been commended for her dedication, with many asking for tips to lose weight and stay fit.
In an interview with citifmonline.com, Jessica disclosed that Obuor will be made to undergo the routine she used to shed her weight such as detox, aerobics, walks, among others.
A social media reality show will also be launched to monitor the progress of Obuor’s weight loss. The social media pages will include Instagram, Twitter and Periscope; a live video feed of Obuor’s aerobic training and walks.
