Ghanaian Actress Nadia Buari has revealed that Telecommunication company, Globacom (GLO), was not pleased with her appearance at the 2016 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMAs).
Nadia who is a Glo Ambassador confirmed on Peace FM's Entertainment Review that officials of the green and white telecommunication brand was not happy she attended the Vodafone sponsored awards event and further stepping on stage to present an award.
Nadia said her decision to show up was based on the premise that Charterhouse, organizers of the event, invited her; not Vodafone who were the sponsors.
“With that, definitely [they will not be happy] because I’m a GLO ambassador. And I actually went there at Charterhouse’s invitation. Of course, they will not be happy with me mounting the stage of a competitor,” she noted.
The "Agony of Christ" actress however, added that the issue has been revolved and her relationship with Glo is intact.
Nadia Buari together with Marketing Executive turned Politician George Andah presented an award at the 2016 VGMAs.
