Amidst the heated political atmosphere in the country currently, actor Majid Michel has said most of our leaders are "professional manipulators".
According to his recent post on social media, it takes more than just winning a election to be a leader.
While some of his fellow celebrities are taking advantage of the political season by openly endorsing politicians and political parties, the "Agony of Christ" actor has a message for our leaders, and perhaps those who are hoping to be leaders.
Majid Michel wrote;
"True Leaders are more concerned about discovering a purpose to improve the life of humanity, that's more important than their personal ambition, so they sacrifice themselves to accomplish something for the greater good. We find that rarely these days. Most people we call Leaders are simply professional manipulators, and they are actually more concerned about their own promotion than promoting the people. A leader is born when a human discovers something more important than their personal ambition. Leadership is not something you pursue. it's something you discover. Leadership has nothing to do with you. it has everything to do with the people. Winning an election does not mean u are a Leader. it means you are a politician. if you are ordained as a pastor does not mean you can lead a church. LEADERSHiP is not a right. it's a privilege. And it's a privilege given to you by the followers. And if the followers don't know how to identify with good and effective Leaders, then we will continue to have mediocrity in Leadership. #LEADERSHiP @enginuzun"

Great piece for thought !!!!!!!; good leadership is a great gift from the creator ;but leadership qualities can be thought with discipline; honesty and a creative mind set ; the UK ; US ; French and China teach these qualities in their armies exact self control in whatever they do ; 'THE MOTTO IS THE NATION COMES FIRST; not your little selfish interest ; I would certainly agree that not everybody is a born leader ; some create leadership on their own terms bullying and cheating ; some manipulate others to assume leadership roles ; some through bare face stilling ;murder and greed assume the role of leadership to me; leader is like gold dust and any country that gets a good leader prospers not for himself ; his family; cronies and friends but the for the good of the nation ; we have lost these traits of leadership qualities since Kwame Nkrumah and all we since the army intervened are self styled greedy leaders very ***barred word*** of people and hate people who educated than them and seek the welfare of a country ; I can today name you one or two specimen still alive who still have these mirage and delusions of grandeur of having leadership qualities.
RE APUU: you are my hero and superstar not those villagers in Kumasi....... Let me tell you and other people who think like you, villagers are best have more health, peace and better food than you have. If I speak my local dialect don't me a villager. I say I will rather listen to King Ayisoba, Ayigbye Edem and Sarkodie than M.anifest (who raps in English and is no better than Jay Z, Common, Tupac etc) because they rap in their local dialect. Are you more English than the British.
