Ghanaian actor, Majid Michel, is championing the fight against malnutrition.
According to a research, 35% of Ghanaians have suffered from stunted growth and 10.5 of children who are repeated in school are as a result of malnutrition.
Majid has, however, urged Ghanaians to make it a priority to collectively fight against malnutrition.
“We don’t even talk about food, we don’t talk about agriculture …all we believe is the food comes someway, and somehow wherever it comes from we have no idea all you know is you eating,” he said at a conference on food and nutrition security in Ghana in Accra to commemorate the Africa food and nutrition security day..
He further called for nutrition to be made a mainstream topic of conversation and for it to be taught in schools.

yea that's true but also is because of poverty and lack of education, so I believe that if all Ghanaians take it serious and will practice it, the problem can be controlled.

yes it is good idea, the deprive communities are most affected once. there are variety foodstuff such as tiger nut milk which is good in maintaining malnutrition, because of it high content of antioxidants capacity which can protect the immune system of malnourished population and as well as soya milk but all this has been left in the hands of a poor Ghanaian farmer to combat with. it is time for as Ghanaians to step out and make this foodstuff into finishing product which can be enjoy by every deprive communities in Ghana.
