Our cameras caught the NPP Member of Parliament for Lawra constituency, Anthony Abayifaa Karbo affectionately called Lawra Jay-Z, in a queue buying porridge (koko) on Friday on his way to Parliament house in Accra.
This act though exemplary is contrary to the wide-held perception about politicians who spin and spun, wine and dine whilst poverty drives the masses to settle for the ‘lowest’ and ‘affordable ’delicacies.
Meanwhile, the act is not entirely unlikely about the Lawra lawmaker as he is known for his grass root activism, a trait which doesn't appear to have been lost with his rise to office, as is in the case of other MPs.

these ndc supporters are still not happy with any thing about npp mps. jealousy will kill them. the man is buying his porridge, whether you like it or not.
What is wrong with that?
who is karbo? bcos u r mp so the cameras should show u buying koko. aaaaaah, cheap populism.
Even your John Mahama sends pictures of himself eating every meal and drinking whiskey. He even sends pictures when he is shiting and you are hapi abt that. Leave the koko mp alone, he is helping the koko market
@ John, madi wo ho yaw paaa, u too go and buy koko and publish it. At least the gentleman is showing he is a commoner even at height and not just that ; he is not eating burger and custard. Gooooooooooo gh populist or not
when president Mahama was carrying and dancing with children all over Ghana was he a babysitter or a kindergarten teacher? ***barred word***!
And where was this camera man, following the MP everywhere? Or the MP arranged his cameras to capture him for populist motives? And the story that accompanies it look like someone is paid to paint this guy white. Is that not the same thing that NPP is paying the media to paint them white? Ghanaians have bitten more than they can chew.
Populist
nice one
