Sexy Ghanaian afro-pop musician, Mzbel came under heavy bashing after her party NDC lost the 2016 election to the NPP.
Supporters of NPP jammed her for allegedly calling the then candidate and now president, Mr. Nana Akufo-Addo names they regarded to be insulting.
Speaking on TV3’s new day, the singer said she threw her weight behind NDC because of the support they gave her foundation which embarks on different project around James Town.
So, when the time came for them to campaign for the election she thought it wise to repay the favour by using her influence on social media and beyond to help them win.
She made it clear, she never insulted president Nana Akufo-Addo but agreed she recorded teasing videos just like any other person was doing during the election campaign era.
Touching on whether she will campaign for the same party again in the next election, she nodded, yes and said she will do it again but with precaution.
