Actor Prince David Osei will be the main speaker for the first edition of the Transformer’s Summit slated for the University of Cape Coast (UCC) on Tuesday, September 25.
The Transformer’s Summit is an initiative of Kyedsam Foundation International aimed at creating an avenue for celebrities to mentor students in tertiary institutions.
The actor will speak on the theme, “What I Wish I Knew” and also share tips on entrepreneurship and thoughts about leadership and mentorship.
Speaking with the Daily Graphic about the programme, Prince David Osei said the Transformers’ Summit would be a good stage to positively impact young people who look up to him in many ways.
“I am ready to answer every important question from participants to nurture their ambitions for the bigger market after school.
Life outside school is very difficult and these students need such mentorship to prepare them well for the future,” he said.
According to the organisers, an opportunity would be given for participants to take photos with Prince David Osei.
The President of Kyedsam Foundation International, Samuel Kyere Dartey, said his outfit is committed to coaching young people on good career paths.
“Our main motivation is to give hope and encourage the youth to work and achieve their dreams.
We also want to guide them by putting their skills and talents to good use,” he said.
