Davido has announced a collaboration with American pop star Chris Brown on a new song titled ‘Blow My Mind’.
The song will be Chris Brown’s second collaboration with an African artiste– the first was with Wizkid in 2014 and 2017.
In an Instagram post of the cover of the song, Chris Brown said, “Coming Soon” and generated a lot of buzz on social media days ago.
Davido also shared the artwork and got a lot of attention for it. It is, however, not clear when the song will be released. It was produced by Nigerian record producer, Shizzi.
Chris Brown has, over the years, expressed and shown his love for music and dance in Africa. He has featured on Wizkid’s ‘African Bad Gyal’ and ‘Shabba’, which topped charts around the world from 2014 to 2017.
Davido is the next to collaborate with Chris. He is currently one of Nigeria’s biggest exports to world music with enviable records.
His 2017 hit song, ‘Fall’, became the first Nigerian music video to hit 100 million views on YouTube.
Also, his ‘Wonder Woman’ song was listed as one of the hottest tracks from across the African continent by Apple Music.
