Kumawood actors, Kwadwo Nkansah aka Lilwin, Akwasi Boadi popularly known as Akrobeto and Nana Ama McBrown are undoubtedly some of the most popular faces in the industry.
They are all over our screens so it will be quite surprising for anybody in Ghana not to know them but singer, Stephanie Benson says she has no idea who Lilwin and Akrobeto are.
“I do not know them. Who are they, I have no idea what they do," she said in answer to a question about whether she would like to work them since she had expressed interest in doing comedies.
Stephanie however said she knew Nana Ama McBrown. "Yes I know her very well and I would like to work with her. That lady is talented and very hilarious,” she stated.
Speaking on other matters, Stephanie spoke about her parenting style saying she lets them do their own thing.
“I allow them be themselves; even at their age, they still walk around naked and that is deliberate. I want my children to be confident and not be ashamed of their body.
“I wouldn’t want them to grow up and be timid, no they should be able to express themselves in anyway that they can and want. I wish they were here, they are very intelligent and I am proud of them,” she said.
Commenting on her relationship with her musician sister Akosua Agyepong and how the latter takes it when she is criticised, Stephanie said, “we are very cool, and when I am being bashed, sometimes she joins in but that is fine. It is how we grew up, we are not afraid to express ourselves, I also like people like that, who say it as it is.”
