A member of Obrafour’s Pae Mu Ka at 20 Concert organizing team has disclosed that Okyeame Kwame was not invited for the event.
Speaking in an interview with Zion Felix on Radio Univers’ ‘Brunch2Lunch’ Entertainment Show, Wei Ye Oteng explained why the ‘Made in Ghana’ composer was not invited.
“To the best of my knowledge, I can’t say we invited Okyeame for the concert. What I know is, we sent an invitation to him during the launch but he couldn’t honour it due to his busy schedules.
“Okyeame Kwame has been busy and the Okyeame Kwame as I know will never decline an invite if he has free time on his hands,” Wei Ye Oteng clarified.
He added that this doesn’t mean there is any feud between Okyeame Kwame and Obrafour.
After rating the Pae Mu Ka at 20 Concert as a successful one, Wei Ye Oteng pleaded to those who found some shortcomings to forgive the organizers.
Many Ghanaian musicians and industry players paid homage to Obrafour at the event which took place at the Accra International Conference Centre on Saturday, November 9, 2019.
