Evangelist Diana Asamoah has lauded President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo for introducing his free Senior High School (SHS) policy aimed at ensuring all school children gain full access to quality education.
According to her, the free SHS has been extremely beneficial to lots of Ghanaians including herself and revealed she will soon start school to fine-tune her English speaking skills.
''The free SHS is a very, very good initiative. It has helped a lot of people. At first, people would line up to me for money to take their wards to school but that burden has been lifted off my shoulders since the free SHS programme was rolled out,” she told host Halifax Ansah Addo on Okay FM's 'Best Entertainment'.
She further disclosed she has composed a song for President Akufo-Addo to support the ''4 more 4 Nana'' campaign.
''I have a new song for him. In fact, when you look at the man (Nana Addo) that God has blessed us with, today orphans and underprivileged children have the opportunity to go to school freely. I am even about to start school myself to tune my English''.
It will be recalled that Diana Asamoah's song for Ex-President John Agyekum Kufour, while he was contesting for President of Ghana, played a key role in his victory.
