Gospel musician, Nicholas Omane Acheampong says a lot of election prophecies are just means by which religious leaders use to gain attention and support from political parties.
According to him, the Prophets have seen that if they give prophecies to favour a political party and the party comes into power, they would gain some material or financial benefits and this is why there are diverse prophecies about who or which party will win elections.
Nicholas Omane Acheampong, speaking to Nana Ama Mcbrown on UTV's ''United Showbiz'', further stated that most of the Pastors who claim to be apolitical are actually not but rather they all have their political affiliations and so say things that will attract their parties to come to their aid.
To him, many a time the Pastors or Prophets have not seen or got any message from God to deliver to the people of Ghana but just so they will feed their stomachs, they make predictions hoping it will be true.
