Nigerian actress Mercy Johnson, who has decided to stop taking up romantic roles in movies, has finally revealed the reason behind her decision.
Speaking to a Nigerian blogger, the mother of four, revealed bluntly that, she’s reached the stage in life where such roles are not convenient for her anymore.
She explained that, she doesn’t want her kids to grow up and find her kissing and fondling with another man in a movie and begin to ask her questions because, they might not know these things can be manipulated.
To her, all those other single actresses can take up such roles but as far as she’s concerned, she has passed that stage.
