Multiple award-winning gospel singer, Diana Hamilton has offered nuggets of wisdom to budding gospel artistes.
In an up-close interview with Halifax Ansah Addo on Okay FM's "Best Entertainment" programme, the two-time VGMA Gospel Artiste of the Year gave the artistes some tips to follow to become great and be a household name in the gospel industry.
According to her, what every young artiste and all gospel artistes need not miss when composing a song is the Word of God.
She stated that their songs should be based on the Word of God so as to positively impact lives.
The ''Adom'' songstress also advised them to be patient and wait on the Lord to give them a sense of direction and the right lyrics for their songs.
Citing herself as an example, Diana said; ''I am speaking the Word of God but I have a tune on it. And so when a song is based on the Word of God, the song shouldn't die off. The song shouldn't grow off; it shouldn't be normal''.
