Event Coordinator and entertainment pundit, Whitney Boakye Mensah says any parent whose child seeks to have musician Shatta Wale as role model has failed as a parent.
According to her, it is high time Ghanaians stopped refering to celebrities like Shatta Wale that they are role models to the youth whenever they (celebrities) have a beef with one another or somebody else.
Whitney Boakye yelled; ''I see it as a failure on the part of you, as a parent, if your child's first role model is Shatta Wale.''
She explained that the only thing someone can do is to imitate Shatta Wale but it is out of place for a child to aspire to be Shatta Wale or pick him as role model.
''Your child can like Shatta Wale or Stonebwoy's song or how Messi plays football. I get inspiration but to say you want to be like Shatta Wale when you grow, you can't be like Shatta Wale . . . No! There's only one Shatta Wale. You can only imitate but you can't be him," she said on Peace FM's ''Entertainment Review''.
Her comment comes on the heels of recent altercations between Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy's fanatic Aisha Modi.
The two have been trading vulgar words on social media.
Aisha Modi has accused Shatta Wale of having a threesome among other allegations which have angered Shatta Wale to give her caustic replies.
