There is a new addition to the ranks of married women in Ghana and it’s a fan favourite actress.
Evelyn Addo – you probably know her as Nina from the show ‘Home Sweet Home’ – has gotten married.
Nina, sorry Evelyn, walked down the aisle with her sweetheart in a ceremony which looks like it was short, sweet and private.
There is little to no information on the wedding aside from the fact that it happened.
A photo from the ceremony has hit the web. It shows Evelyn dressed in a white dress standing content by her new husband.
A friend or probably a family member shared the photo online.
The person captioned the photo: “Congratulations hun. evelynaddogh”, adding a love emoji.
The photo was inscribed with ‘Just married,”
The actress rose to fame as a child in the 90s on the massively popular television show ‘Home Sweet Home’.
Starring alongside the late Kojo Dadson, Rama Brew and others, the show was a fan favourite at the time. You can scarcely find anyone who grew up in the 90s who did not watch ‘Home Sweet Home’.
Evelyn was also popular because her character - Nina was a precocious and highly mischievous girl.
That made fans love the character and in turn made Evelyn very popular. She disappeared for a while after the show ended and popped back up a few years ago.
