Kumawood actress, Matilda Asare has called on Ghanaians to disregard various online stories with the headline “I regret Voting for NPP – Matilda Asare cries” attributing it to her.

In a press release, she has debunked the said trending story “I wish to draw the attention of the general public to disregard the story because the said Facebook Account is fake and not mine” – a portion of the statement read.

However, she made known the name of her original and correct social media handles which is NEW MATILDA ASARE “My original Facebook account is called NEW MATILDA ASARE, and not Matilda Asare as is being disseminated on various online portals. This Matilda Asare page is part of several fake Facebook account created with my Name and Image.”

DISREGARD THE COOKED AND FAKE STORY – MATILDA ASARE

My attention has been drawn to the Malicious and Propaganda online story with the headline “I regret Voting for NPP – Matilda Asare cries” attributing it to me.

I wish to draw the attention of the general public to disregard the story because the said Facebook Account is fake and not mine.

My original Facebook account is called *NEW MATILDA ASARE*, and not Matilda Asare as is being disseminated on various online portals. This Matilda Asare page is part of several fake Facebook account created with my Name and Image.

I wish to, however, put on records that I never regretted campaigning for NPP.
