Last Thursday, Ama Nettey, Miss Malaika Ghana 2010, organized a massive malaria awareness campaign at the Kanda Cluster of Schools. The campaign formed part of her duties as Malaika queen.
During the exercise, the beauty queen donated items such as books, stationary, malaria branded T shirts among others to the schools. She educated the school children to cultivate good environmental and personal hygienic practices so as to avoid mosquitoes and malaria.
The queen also organized a party for the school as Indomie prepared noodles with exotic flavours for their enjoyment.
The malaria campaign was sponsored by Indomie, Green Oak Hotel, EPP Books Services and the Malaria Control Board.
Meanwhile, come Saturday, November 5, the grand finale of the 2011 edition of the Malaika Ghana pageant comes off at the Dome of the Accra International Conference Centre.
Here, Ama would gracefully step down from her throne to hand over to the soon-to be-crowned new queen.
Miss Malaika Ghana is sponsored by KIA by RANA motors, Air Namibia, Simbims Furniture, Sleek Make-up, UB Hair Relaxer, Gh-One and powered by Charterhouse.
