There seems to be a lot wrong about this year's Miss Malaika. There has been a series of mishaps i would be labeling in this piece.
Aside with the Low Publicity and poor public engagement of this year's Miss Malaika the following have been identified. The once prestigious pageant to me this year has lost its credibility.
On two occasions a competition was put on Social Media site facebook and it was to test which delegate would have the highest number of likes on a Photo. This system was however cheated to favor 4 other delegates, they had a whooping 5000+ likes automatically added to their photos overnight. This is very possible through Spam Java Script and can only be manipulated by the page Admin who happens to be our very own Kwabena Poku of Media Pop.
Secondly the Director of the Pageant, Apefa whom over the years has directed the event has been labeled as Biased and Unfair by most girls who have participated in the pageant. Speaking to a pageant of last year's Miss Malaika she said Apefa was very biased and she was very partial to the Winner who happened to be Ms Sharon Cofie.
We can confirm that she publicly said she wanted one of the current pageants to win at all cost. Well this coming from the director of the pageant hmmm. not forgetting the said girl was part of the beneficiaries of 5000+ Likes
Thirdly most of the girls who have participated have condemed the event and said if they knew how this was they wouldn't have wasted their time.
Most past delegates i spoke to painfully recalled how the organizers didn't respect their opinions, always fixing impromptu meetings etc etc. Speaking to three girls at this year's competition they affirmed the fact that no organizer respects any girl they treat us anyhow and speak to us anyhow.
To cut my long story short 2 of the delegates at this year's pageant have pulled out. My insider confirms 3 others are preparing to leave before close of this week. Let's see how it goes.
