Tara Gueye was named the most beautiful girl in Ivory Coast after winning the Miss Côte d’Ivoire 2019 crown during the finals held June 1 at the Palais des Congrès Sofitel Hotel Ivoire in Abidjan.
The 22-year-old economics graduate student bested 26 other candidates for the right to represent the West African country at the 2019 Miss World contest in December in Thailand.
Ivory Coast has yet to win the Miss World crown.
