She has been working in the media for close to a decade and while many in her shoes may not hesitate to seek better prospects with other professional endeavours, media personality Anita Aniniwaa Ampomah popularly known as Empress Neeta says she will never quit.
Empress Neeta who started her media work in 2012 at XFM tells Graphic Showbiz that, “I love to work in the media especially as an entertainment panelist because it gives me the opportunity to educate the masses.
“With that, I need to read wide on different issues to be informed to make solid and knowledgeable presentation. When you are on air, people listen to your contributions and assess you by that.
“Hence, I am not comfortable when I listen to radio panelists who are not on top of issues. Most of them have no idea about topics or have not taken their time to research into topics they talk about and provide false information,” she said.
According to Empress Neeta, she is always on top of issues because she reads a lot to expand her knowledge.
“The comments that come during phone in sessions after programmes give me a lot of vim that I’m doing well with the job,” she said.
Empress Neeta started working actively in the creative arts space from 2012 and has since served in various capacities working with XFM, TV3, Hitz FM (Multimedia Group), Zylofon Media (Zylofon 102.1 FM, Zylofon TV and Zylofon Music). She is currently working with 3Media.
Apart from being a panelist, she has over the years mastered the art of radio and television production and presentation. She is also into events coordination, online and social media content creation.
