FIFA presidential candidate Mohamed bin Hammam says Sepp Blatter should also be probed in a bribery scandal.
Bin Hammam says the FIFA ethics panel which is investigating him over allegations he tried to bribe voters should also look at the gaffe-prone FIFA president. The Qatari challenger says evidence submitted to FIFA suggests Blatter "was informed of, but did not oppose, payments allegedly made to members of the Caribbean Football Union."
FIFA's ethics code requires all football officials to report attempts to offer bribes. Bin Hammam says the scandal is "part of a plan to damage" him and force him to withdraw from next Wednesday's election.
The bribery allegations were made by American FIFA official Chuck Blazer.
