South Africa football authorities have confirmed that they will play Ghana in a friendly next month as a Nations Cup warm-up for the Black Stars.
Last month, www.mtnfootball.com revealed that the friendly has been lined-up most likely in Rustenburg to help Ghana prepare.
Now the South Africans have confirmed that the game will take place even though the exact date and venue is still not known.
The match is among a series of games lined-up for the Bafana Bafana to make up for their absence at the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations.
Bafana will also have the honour of playing Equtorial Guinea in an inaugural game scheduled to officially open one of the stadiums where Africa Cup of Nations matches will be hosted.
South Africa Football Association (Safa) CEO Robin Petersen has confirmed Bafana will play against Zambia, Ghana and India in what will be an opportunity for Bafana coach Pitso Mosimane to run the rule over his team ahead of the tough World Cup qualifiers.
