Ghana placed second at the just ended African Cup of Nations and our failure to lift the trophy, must be a focal point for us to demand accountability from the leaders who approved the budget for the entire team, a sports analyst has encouraged.
According to Patrick Osei Agyemang aka Countryman Songo, as soon as our Sports Minister and the Black Stars team touch down at the Kotoka Int. Airport, they must be met with questioning looks and demanding faces seeking to know how much of their tax contributions were approved for the team to spend in Equatorial Guinea.
The outspoken sports presenter opined that "if we should sleep on the matter and allow things to be like what happened in the World Cup which was staged in Brazil, we would never know how much of our hard earned monies have been wasted." He therefore tasked everyone to sing the ‘fire song’ to drown Mahama Agyariga in "anxiety-causing insomnia" for him to be forthcoming with the needed information.
