The Ministry of Youth and Sports (MOYS) has sent a consolation message to the family of the late former Deputy Minister for Youth and Sports, Nii Nortey Dua.
In a release copied to the GNA Sports and signed by the head of Public Relations for MOYS, Mr. Elvis Adjei-Baah, it said the ministry is saddened to hear the death of the former Deputy Minister for Youth and Sports and MP for Ledzokuku Constituency, who passed away on Thursday, 21st December, 2017 after a short illness.
“We at the Ministry of Youth and Sports are aware of the immense contributions of the late Nii Nortey Dua to the development of youth and sports, he would always be fondly remembered by us.
“We acknowledge his sense of patriotism, devotion and commitment to the nation and on behalf of Government and the people of Ghana. We extend our heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family in this moment of grief”.
