Striker Prince Tagoe has been exempted from Ghana's game against Sudan in the 2010 joint Nations Cup and World Cup qualifier scheduled for Sunday.
FA Spokesperson, Randy Abbey says Ghana's decision to rule the player out of the qualifier was done in consultation with Tagoe, his agent and lawyers. The move is to allow Tagoe resolve contractual issues with his German side TSG Hoffenheim.
Tagoe is meeting with officials of the German Football Federation and Hoffenheim to resolve their stand-off and is expected to be available for subsequent national assignments.
