The Board of Directors of Accra Great Olympics have appointed George Afriyie as the Interim Chief Executive Officer of the Club.
Afriyie, the immediate past Chief Executive Officer of Gamba All Blacks FC�s appointment takes immediate effect.
A statement signed by John K.E. Edzie, Board Secretary of Olympics copied to GNA Sports said Afriyie will manage the affairs of the Club pending the completion of the corporate restructuring exercise announced by the Board since October, 2008.
He said a Management team will be named shortly.
Great Olympics, once a third force in Ghana football bounced back to the elite division after finishing winners of the Zone Three Middle League held last month.
Until now a Board Member, David Mawuli Fugah had acted as the Chief Executive of the Club.
