Berekum Arsenal have worked their way to second on the table and are now a point off the leaders, Kessben FC.
The Gunners came from behind to down Liberty Professionals 2-1 as they claimed their first away victory at the Carl Reindorf Park on Thursday.
Isaac Donkor put Liberty in the lead on the stroke of half time. But the Gunners returned from the break much more determined as substitute Ernest Obeng drew them level after 71 minutes.
Two minutes after the equaliser, another Arsenals substitute, Sadiq Abubakar found the target after Liberty goalkeeper Daniel Agyei had spilled the ball into his path.
For the home side, the result is the second straight defeat in the Glo Premier League. Thursday's game was a rescheduled match-day-9 fixture due to Liberty's involvement in the WAFU Club Championship.
