The New Year has brought change to the top of the Glo Premier League standings as All Stars assume pole position ahead of Kessben FC after match-day-13.

The Blues after handing Kessben a 2-0 defeat at the Wa Park on Sunday are level on points with the Abrankese side but jump to the summit for the first time this season via the head-to-head rule.

Aduana in third position, close in top two after accounting for Great Olympics 1-0 at the Dormaa Park. Just a point separates them from the top spot.

Hearts of Oak recorded their highest scoreline ever this season as they outgunned Berekum Arsenals 3-0 at the Ohene Djan Stadium to go fifth on the table. Eric Gawu's brace and a strike by Samuel Affum sealed victory for the Phobians.

The pressure appears to calmed down in Kumasi as Asante Kotoko earned a 1-0 win away against Chelsea at the Coronation Park. Kabiru Imoro's first half goal separated the two sides as the Porcupine Warriors earned their second successive win to stay 10th on the standings.

Sellas Tetteh finally hand something to cheer about as his Liberty Professionals side won 2-1 in Kumasi over bottom placed King Faisal. The win was the first for Liberty in six domestic league matches since Sellas returned to the club.

Faisal drew first blood after an own goal by Dan Addo but Salifu Latifu equalized before Christopher Nkansah scored the winner from a spot-kick.

New Edubiase United were 2-1 winners at home over Eleven Wise as they brought to an end the Sekondi side's five-game unbeaten run.

Hasaacas caught up in the drop zone continued with their bad run following a 1-2 home defeat to AshantiGold. Heart of Lions and Real Tamale United shared the spoils in their goalless draw match at the Kpando Park.
