The Central Regional Chairman of the Ghana Football Association, Mr Mathew Doe has announced that the Regional Division Two League will kick off on Sunday, February 7, 2010.
Mr Doe who announced this at a meeting attended by Club Chairmen, representatives of Referees Association and Match Commissioners said the 14th edition of the Super Zonals Tournament aimed at promoting the winner to the Premier Division will be organized from Sunday, May 2, to Sunday, May 9, 2010.
Forty-four Clubs in the Region have registered to participate in the competition.
The Association expressed concern that of the 44 teams which have registered to participate in the League only six teams have made full payment of their registration and officiating fees.
Mr Doe therefore appealed to the indebted Clubs to ensure that they settle their debts by January 25 to avoid any sanctions.
