New Edubiase United Football Club has announced changes in its technical team, with former RTU and Udinese player, Mohammed Gargo replacing head coach Emmanuel Kwasi Afranie.
Coach Afranie now becomes the Technical Director.
Alhaji Yakubu Abdul-Salaam, President of the Club told GNA Sports in Kumasi that the changes were necessary to aid the Club's continued stay in the top flight of the Premier League.
He said coach Afranie has meanwhile accepted his new appointment in good faith.
Alhaji Abdul-Salaam said the Club has also submitted proposals to the Ghana Football Association (GFA) to allow the Club to play its remaining home matches at Tema instead of Obuasi.
This, he said, is premised on the fact that there is poor patronage of their matches at Obuasi and therefore they encounter revenue losses.
The President said besides that the Club is denied access to train at the Len Clay Sports Stadium, which is the property of Ashgold a fellow League Club.
Alhaji Abdul-Salaam said the management meanwhile launched what he called, "Operation win all Matches" and this goes with higher player motivation.
Edubiase United joined the elite premiership this season and are lie at the 14th position on the League table with 21 points, having lost nine matches, two of them at home.
The Club managed to win only four matches and drawn four times, after 19 matches.
