The outgoing South Africas High Commissioner to Ghana, Her Excellency, Zodwa Lallie has said she is confident the World Cup tournament to be to be played in her country would be won by an African country.

She said the Ultimate Cup would surely be retained on the African continent. Ms Zodwa Lallie stated these when she met President J.E.A Mills at the Castle Osu, to bid him farewell at the end of her diplomatic mission in Ghana.

Ms. Lallie said during the short period that she lived in Ghana, she enjoyed a cordial diplomatic relations and has learnt a lot from the Ghana political system.

On his part, the Foreign Minister, Alhaji Mohammed Mumuni said under Ms. Lallie, the diplomatic relations between Ghana and South Africa has been very productive. President J.E.A Mills in response thanked her for serving her nation and Ghana creditably. He presented a stool to her and she in turn gave President Mills a football flute and a die-hard-football-supporters cap.
