Ghana youngster Afriyie Acquah has suffered a fresh injury setback after a scan showed the Palermo midfielder had sustained a back injury in a Serie A game on Sunday.
The 19-year-old was taken off by Palermo coach Delio Rossi on the half hour mark after clashing with a Chievo Verona player and it is feared he will not be able to play in the Coppa Italia finals clash with Inter Milan next weekend.
This is the second injury scare for the Sunyani-born promising midfielder in just twelve days.
