Ghanaian midfielder Seidu Yahaya is eyeing an European double with Maccabi Haifa when they tackle Hapoel Tel Aviv in the final of the State Cup on Wednesday.
The two Israeli clubs go head-to-head for the last major silverware of the season after Haifa clinched the league last week.
The influetntial defensive midfielder could cap an incredible debut season for the newly crowned Israeli champions by lifting the State Cup on Wednesday night.
They beat Hapoel Tel Aviv in their last meeting in the league and the ex-Tema Youth and AEK Athens player is relishing the prospect of winning the double.
“It is a big game for us and I’m really looking forward to this game especially. We just won the league recently and there is massive team winning mentality in the dressing team and so will see how it goes,” Yahaya told GHANAsoccernet.com.
The youngster has already indicated his desire to play for any of the national teams.
