Second-tier Turkish side Bucaspor have successfully bargained to sign Hearts of Oak defender Phillip Boampong for US$ 100,000.
The Hearts of Oak centre-back was valued at US$ 300,000 which the club declined to pay.
However, the outcome of a match-fixing allegation, will determine whether the 21-year-old will be signed or not.
Boampongs transfer is on hold. We wanted to wait a while. However, it is our agenda to gain promotion to the Super League so we will call the players immediately, Bucaspor Manager Murat Dizdar said.
Boampong, the younger brother of Daniel Coleman, was a member of the Ghana squad which won the 2009 Fifa Under-20 World Cup in Egypt.
