AC Milan have ruled out Ghana international Kevin-Prince Boateng for Sundays tricky visit to Napoli in the Serie A.
The 24-year-old is suffering from an injury picked up in midweek against Barcelona in the Uefa Champions League at the Camp Nou.
According to Sky Sport 24, the midfielder travelled to Monace, France for checks on his chest which ruled out any bone fracture.
It is suspected to be muscular problem with the possibility of a micro fracture likely.
His condition will be closely monitored by the Milan medical staff at the Milanelo training ground.
Boatengs unavailability means Milan coach Allegri could opt for a three midfield with Seedorf re-assigned as an attacking midfielder behind the strikers either Pato or El Shaarawy and Cassano.
