Ghana youth international Salifu Amidu made his Serie A debut for Fiorentina on Sunday in their 3-0 win over ten-man AS Roma.
The 19-year-old came off the bench to replace Andrea Lazzari on 81 minutes as La Viola cruised to their fourth victory of the season.
The attacking midfielder has been a revelation since joining Fiorentina from Serie B side Vicenza.
His performance has prompted new Fiorentina coach Delio Rossi to hand him a place in his 18-man squad in recent matches and offered him his chance at home.
Salifu is one of the four Ghanaian young players at Fiorentina.
