Goran Stevanovic insists he was not pressured by the Ghana FA to select players for the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations.
There is huge impression that the Serbian trainer was forced to include some players against his will in the provisional 25-man squad.
Stevanovic named Ghana Premier League leading scorer Emmanuel Baffour in his squad after earlier reports claimed no locally-based outfit player will be invited.
He has dismissed those reports and said he will take full blame if results do not turn out as expected.
“Nobody pressured me for this squad. I will like to thank the Ghana FA Executive Members for giving me the freedom to choose the best players,” Stevanovic said a media conference on Thursday.
“I am ready to take responsibility for the result.”
