Ghanaian striker Eric Bekoe ended his two-year spell on the sidelines as an 81st minute substitute in Petrojet’s 0-0 draw with FC Smouha in the Egyptian Premier League on Saturday.
The former Asante Kotoko hitman had spent two seasons on sidelines after suffering a knee injury in a league fixture.
The 24-year-old came off the bench to replace Ahmed Abdallah but could not help the Suez based register their first victory in five games.
He had to undergo surgery to cure the problem but his recovery delayed.
