Ghana goalkeeper Richard Kingson says new FA management members are bent on clearing out the experienced players from the Black Stars.
The 33-year-old has been questioning reasons for his exclusion from Ghana’s 25-man squad for the Africa Cup of Nations with his wealth of experience.
Ghana coach Goran Stevanovic explained that Kingson inactiveness cost his a place in his squad.
But the former Blackpool goalkeeper has rubbished that claiming there is deliberate attempt by some Ghana FA members to phase out the ageing players in the team.
“Before we played Congo one of the new management members said they are going to take out the old players in the side so I don’t know whether that is why I am no longer in the team because I can’t find any other reason,” he told Radio Gold.
“At the right time I will name the new management member who told me that the old player will be forced out.”
Kingson has played at five Africa Cup of Nations finals including the last edition where he captained Ghana to win silver in Angola.
