Stand-In captain John Painstil emerged as the Orange Best Player of the match when the Blacks Stars of Ghana played their final group match against West Africa neighbours Guinea on Wednesday.
The Black Stars have not only qualified for the quarter finals of the on-going nations cup but also the manner in which our players win the most valuable player award after every game have been commendable.
The Leicester City defender was voted man of the match after the game against Guinea which ended in a draw.
He (John Painstil) thus becomes the third player to win the award.
Rennes defender John Boye and Olympic Marseille Midfielder Andre ‘Dede’ Ayew have both won award in our games against Botswana and Mali respectively.
Ghana plays her quarter final match against The Eagles of Carthage, Tunisia on Sunday 5th February 2012 in Franceville, Gabon.
