Bismark Idan has been released by his Turkish club Goztepe after a mutual agreement was reached to terminate his contract.
The second-tier side was not impressed with his output and had to sever ties with the former Berekum Chelsea star.
'The club would like to thank him for his work during his stay, a statement on the clubs website said in part. We wish him well and success in his footballing life.
The 22-year-old signed a three-year contract with the club in August 2011. He was a joint top scorer in the 2009/2010 seasons of the Ghana Premier League.
Idan was a member of Ghanas home-based side which played at the 2011 Africa Championship of Nations (Chan) tournament.
