Sunderland boss Martin O'Neill is preparing for a summer clear-out including Asamoah Gyan to finance his rebuilding plans.
The 25-year-old is on-loan at UAE side Al Ain and has already received offers from some clubs in the Gulf.
The Ghana international has been a hit since moving from the Stadium of Light in September last year-as he currently is Al Ain's top scorer in all competitions.
Al Ain claim they are in the 'driving seat' to sign on the dreaded striker on a permanent basis.
Other players who could join Gyan are Paraguay midfielder Cristian Riveros-on loan in Turkey-George McCartney, who has spent the season with his former club West Ham.
Argentine defender Marcos Angeleri is hankering for a return to his homeland now he has returned to full fitness.
Egyptian star Ahmed Elmohamady has also admitted this week he will move in the summer.
