Sulley Muntari has attributed his rise in form to the work ethics of the fantastic AC Milan staff after he scored his third goal in a Rossoneri shirt.
Sulley Muntari opened the scoring, the midfielder racking up his third goal since joining the Rossoneri on loan from Inter during the transfer window by converting a cross from Kevin-Prince Boateng.
Milan struggled thereafter but substitute Robinho made the game safe when he struck in injury time as Massimiliano Allegris men claimed a victory which drew them to within a point of Juventus, which was held at home by Lecce.
It was Muntaris third goal in a Rossoneri shirt but attributed his rise in form to the fantastic staff of the San Siro side.
Were happy to have played a great game even if we suffered a lot, Muntari said
Its not easy to play and to have to wait for the Juventus result as well but thats the way it goes at the end of the season.
I wasnt expecting to play so many games. I just wanted to do my best in training and show that I was good enough to be a Milan player. I did it and Im very happy here.
At Milanello, we have fantastic staff who help you get back from injury, they do incredible things and credit to them. I dont play alone.
The 77 points are thanks to everyone. Were a great team and we want to get as high on the table as we possibly can. We have two games left.
The goal against Juventus means nothing to me. I pray that well be able to get past them in the league table. he added.
