CK Akunnor has been confirmed Ghana Under-20 assistant coach in a latest technical reshuffle of all national teams.
The Ghana FA last year announced that it will hand national team jobs to coaches on full-time basis.
Akunnor was appointed to assist Orlando Wellington before Hearts of Oak approached him two months ago.
The ex-Black Stars captain will have a busy schedule to win titles with Hearts and also when the qualifiers for the African Youth Championship are in session.
Akunnor is currently leading Hearts to a second-place finish with three matches to end the Ghana Premier League.
