Ghana midfielder Kwadwo Asamoah says he is back to his top form for Juventus after some dodgy showing since the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations.
The talented enforcer has been sparingly used by the Italians giants since playing for his country in the tournament in South Africa in February.
That is because he was unable to reproduce the top form he had before leaving his club in January to join the Black Stars.
But the Ghanaian was in excellent form on Saturday as they beat Pescara with Asamoah setting up the second goal for Mirko Vucinic in the 2-1 victory.
Asamoah says he worked hard throughout last week to be able to reach his top form.
“Today I feel very good physically than when I came back from the Africa Cup of Nations,” Asamoah said after Saturday’s Serie A win over Pescara.
“I’m better, I worked well throughout this week.”
The Ghanaian will now look reclaiming his position in the team from Federico Peluso.
