Leaders Medeama kept their hold of the top spot with a lone goal victory over AshGold at the Tarkwa & Abosso Park on Sunday.
Defender Samuel Nzemaba scored the only goal of the Week 22 encounter in the first half, to snatch the maximum point for the homers.
The match saw former Medeama Coach, Bashir Hayford making a return to his former base since crossing carpet to the Miners few months ago.
However, Nzemaba and his colleagues ensured Hayford returned to Obuasi empty, with the formers 19th minute goal separating the two sides.
Medeama moved to 42 points, three more than Berekum Chelsea, which settled for a one-all draw with All Stars at the Wa Park.
