Ghana defender John Boye has admitted he aware that English giants Liverpool are interested in securing his services.
The 26-year-old has enjoyed a fine season in the Ligue 1 with Stade Rennes, attracting huge attention from Olympique Lyon and rivals Marseille.
Boye racked a total of 24 Ligue apperances and scored twice.
Liverpool boss Branden Rogers is looking for a replacement for the retired Jamie Carragher and has identified the Black Stars center-back.
Though the Anfield side are set to make an official bid for the former Heart of Lions defender, he admits he knows the Premiership giants are interested in him.
“I’ve also heard they are interested in me so let’s see,” he told Ghanasoccernet.com.
Boye will not play part of Rennes’ last Ligue 1 game due to suspension.
