France-based defender Jonathan Mensah arrived in Accra on Friday night and he is set to head straight to Ethiopia to join the Black Stars camp.
The 22-year-old was axed from the Evian TG first team squad for the Coupe de France final on Friday and the center-back left France on Friday for Accra.
He is expected to acquire his Ethiopian visa and immediately join the Black Stars’ training camp in the Addis Ababba – the Ethiopian capital.
Mensah’s arrival would boost the numbers in camp as some of the players are yet to turn up.
Midfielder Rabiu Mohammed who also plays at Evian with the defender was involved in action in the Coupe de France final and would join early next week.
Pair Solomon Asante and Richard Kissi Boateng are also on continental assignment with TP Mazembe in Maputo and would also join later.
