Ghana reached the round of 16 of the U20 World Cup in Turkey on Saturday thanks to the heroics of Egypt who defeated England 1-0.
The Black Satellites narrowly sealed the last place reserved in the second round for the four best third-placed teams in the competition.
The other three teams which join Ghana into the one-sixteenth stage of the tournament are South Korea, Mexico and Uzbekistan.
Ghana will now play Portugal in the next stage of the competition on Wednesday.
